1WRD

A free, private speed reader for iPhone and iPad. One word at a time, exactly where your eye already is.

The focal letter of every word is tinted and locked to the same point on screen, so your eyes never move. Most people comfortably double their reading speed within a few sessions, with full comprehension.

• EPUB, PDF, Word, RTF, Markdown, HTML, plain text, web articles and anything shared from Safari
• Free public-domain catalogs like Project Gutenberg, or your own OPDS library server
• Chapters, covers, pacing that breathes at punctuation, hold-to-peek and word-by-word stepping
• Reading insights: speed trend, daily minutes, streaks and records
• No account, no ads, no tracking. Nothing leaves your device.
